If you're on the hunt for an authentic taste of Korean cuisine infused with the vibrant essence of Hawaiian culture, look no further than Million Restaurant in Honolulu. Nestled conveniently at 626 Sheridan St, this local gem offers a delightful menu that boasts a range of barbecued favorites and savory dishes that are sure to please your palate.

Your culinary journey begins with the enticing aromas of their signature BBQ Bulgogi Plate or the tangy and tender BBQ Spicy Pork Plate, priced at $14.95 and $15.95 respectively. Each plate is served with generous portions of sides, rice, and a comforting soup, creating a dining experience that feels both cozy and hearty. If you're a seafood lover, the Mahimahi Fish Jun Plate at $17.95 or the Fried Salmon Plate at $15.95 present mouthwatering options that capture the freshness of Hawaiian waters.

The atmosphere exudes a warm, family-friendly vibe that welcomes guests to relax and enjoy their meals. The enthusiastic staff, often praised for their friendliness and efficiency, contribute to the inviting ambiance that makes Million Restaurant a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike. As customer Doris Tai highlights, “Great food! They provide plenty of sides and come with soup and rice too. The owner and the waiter are super nice!”

For those seeking out something a little different, consider trying the 7pcs Fried Mandoo Plate ($16.95), a delightful appetizer that perfectly encapsulates the restaurant's commitment to homemade excellence. This hole-in-the-wall establishment has remained a beloved choice for delicious comfort food for both casual diners and those celebrating special moments. As Tracy Lin notes, “Grilled Mackerel was wonderful, as well as the seafood pancake. I ordered my usual beef and vegetable soup and loved it.”

While many enjoy the dine-in experience, takeout is equally popular, as noted by Roxanne Pelissier, who savored the Meat Jun and BBQ Chicken Plate on her journey home. “It turned out to be a delectable, satisfying experience—especially for a quick meal on the go.” This flexibility adds to the restaurant's allure, making it a go-to spot for both a leisurely meal or a quick yet indulgent lunch.

However, like any restaurant, opinions vary. A customer named Joe Volcano appreciated the energetic service but pointed out that the meat quality didn’t match his expectations compared with other establishments in Hawaii. Regardless, many patrons continue to return for the personable experience and vibrant atmosphere, making it a great place to gather with friends and unwind.

So whether you’re in the mood for some comforting meals after a day of exploration or you want to enjoy a lively dinner with family, Million Restaurant is a worthy choice that promises to deliver flavorful dishes and a slice of both Korean and Hawaiian culture. On my last day visiting Hawaii I ordered takeout from Million Restaurant in Honolulu, and enjoyed the delicious meal at the airport. I tried their Meat Jun and BBQ Chicken Plate, and it turned out to be a delectable , satisfying experience—especially for a quick meal on the go. Million Restaurant is a solid choice for anyone craving flavorful Hawaiian-Korean fusion food. While I didn’t dine in, the takeout experience was excellent—quick, convenient, and high-quality. Both the Meat Jun and BBQ Chicken Plate were satisfying, but the BBQ Chicken Plate really stood out for its smoky, tender chicken and well-balanced sides. Video Review will be posted on Tik Tok and Instagram soon @Foxyappetite In depth review: Atmosphere (Takeout Experience): Although I didn’t dine in, it’s worth mentioning that Million Restaurant has a simple, local vibe, ideal for those who want a no-frills, homey meal. The restaurant itself is small and casual, which makes it perfect for quick takeout orders. I picked up my meal without a long wait, and the staff was friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. They packed everything neatly, making it easy to enjoy the food once I arrived at the airport. Service: Service for takeout was efficient and courteous. I called and made my order before picking up and given that I was in a bit of a rush to get to the airport, the food was ready on time, and the portions were generously packed. The staff’s attention to detail in ensuring that everything was properly sealed for takeout was much appreciated. Food: Meat Jun: I was pleasantly surprised by the Meat Jun, especially since takeout can sometimes affect the crispiness of fried items. The batter stayed crispy, and the beef was tender and flavorful. The marinade was a good balance of sweet and savory, though I would have liked it to be a little more pronounced in flavor. The dipping sauce was a nice touch, though it could’ve used a little more acidity or spice to elevate the overall dish. Even after the short transit time to the airport, the Meat Jun held up well and tasted fresh. BBQ Chicken : The BBQ Chicken was grilled perfectly, with a satisfying smoky flavor and a beautiful caramelized glaze from the BBQ sauce. Even though it had been packed for takeout, the chicken remained juicy and tender inside, with a nice char on the outside. The BBQ sauce itself was sweet and flavorful, though slightly on the sweeter side for my taste. The plate came with a generous portion of rice and a side of macaroni salad. The rice was perfectly steamed, and the mac salad had that creamy, tangy taste you’d expect from a good Hawaiian-style version. The portions were generous, and the entire plate was filling and well-balanced. My best friend also ordered the fried salmon, and it didn’t disappoint. The salmon was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining moist and tender on the inside. The seasoning was simple but flavorful, allowing the natural taste of the fish to shine. She was really happy with her choice and even mentioned it was one of the better fried salmon dishes she’s had in a while. Price: For the quality and portion size, Million Restaurant offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable for the generous servings you get. My takeout order was a satisfying meal that didn’t break the bank, which is a major plus, especially when traveling. It’s a good option if you’re looking for something affordable and tasty without the hassle. Overall: If you’re looking for a filling, delicious meal on the go (especially if you’re headed to the airport), Million Restaurant is definitely worth considering. The food is flavorful, the service is efficient, and the price is right. I’ll be back for sure, and I’m curious to try more of their menu next time!

A smaller and family style Korean restaurant but very tasty homemade dishes. Grill Mackerel was wonderful, as well as seafood pancake. I ordered my usual beef and vegetable soup and loved it. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back again.

A couple of co-workers and I stopped in for lunch at the Sheridan Street location. This is a regular stop on our rotation of lunch spots whenever my co-workers have their hair cut. I almost always order the Meat Jun / BBQ Chicken plate. The serving is generous and the selection of banchan is pretty good. The service is fast and we're usually in and out in 30 minutes. It's not gourmet, just good Korean comfort food.

Great customer service and set up for cooking your own Korean food. Unfortunately, I didn’t think that the quality of the meats were the best. I’ve had much better here in Hawaii. I really love the woman that are working here. They’re very fast and efficient and fun. I would recommend having some friends coming over here and having drinks and eating, I just don’t recommend the food

One of my fav hole in the wall places. This place has been around forever. There is limited parking in the back of the building or street parking. The service is good and fast. The food is delicious. If you are looking for fine dining, this is not the place. They can fill up quick so I recommend a reservation.
